Poetry Open Mic - Featured Readers Martin Willets and Jill Crammond

Takes place on the first Wednesday of every month.

Sign up starts at 7. Readings start at 7:30. Each poet reads two short poems (less than one page) or one longer poem.

There is a featured reader each month who reads for approximately 20 minutes. Featured readers are booked by host Carol Graser. See our performance schedule for listings of past featured readers.

All styles of poetry are welcome, although as with all Caffè Lena events we request that performers refrain from excessive profanity… Show more or vulgarity. Enforcement is up to the discretion of the host.

Featured Readers Martin Willets and Jill Crammond

Retired librarian Martin Willitts, Jr is a visual artist of Victorian and Chinese paper cutouts. His poetry has been nominated for five Pushcart and 2 Best Of The Net awards. His most recent of 20 chapbooks is How to Find Peace (Kattywumpus Press, 2012).

Jill Crammond is a poet, artist, and a teacher. Her poetry has been published or is forthcoming in numerous fine poetry journals, including Crab Creek Review, Weave, Boxcar Poetry Review, Blueline, and others. She is the owner and director of Miss Jill's Artist Studio, a creative art studio for children ages 2-14. She is an active and valued member of Hudson Valley Writers Guild and Albany Poets.
