Billy Joel

Billy Joel has a long and successful singing career. He has released many hits from, "Piano Man" to "We Didn't Start the Fire". He married Christie Brinkley and had a daughter named Alexa Ray in 1985. Their marriage lasted till 1993.

He has collaborated with the likes of Ray Charles, Cyndi Lauper, Steve Winwood, Sting, Don Henley, and Elton John. He has been nominated and won many Grammy Awards, including the Grammy Legend Award. He also has won the Billboard Century Award and American Music Awards’ Award of Merit, his list of awards and merits go on and on. He was also known to donate his time and proceeds to humanitarian causes, for example the Kobe earthquake relief effort, supporting the troops in the Persian Gulf and music instruments for school children.
